What happens if the power dies?
Qurence uses a 4200 mAh lithium battery pack with up to a year of standby. If it ever runs flat, there is a hidden mechanical key and a USB-C emergency power port on the bottom edge.
Where are my biometrics stored?
Locally, inside the lock. Face and fingerprint data stay on the device and do not need to leave it for everyday unlocking.
Will Qurence fit my door?
Qurence is designed for standard lock setups and doors between 40 and 120 mm thick. If you are unsure, send a photo and we can confirm the fit.
How is the camera different from a doorbell?
The internet camera is built into the lock itself. It supports live video calls, remote viewing, stranger reminders, and abnormal motion recording without a separate doorbell device.
Can I share access?
Yes. You can grant timed access, recurring schedules, and remote unlock through the app, with a clear activity history for every event.
What finishes are available?
Matte Black, Matte Grey, and Mocha Gold. The body is all metal, with a clean low-gloss finish designed to feel quiet on the door.
When does Qurence ship?
Pre-orders begin shipping in waves. You'll receive a confirmation with an estimated dispatch window once your reservation is placed.

30-day no-questions-returns from delivery. We cover return shipping within the UK.
Do I need a professional installer?
Most homeowners install Qurence in around 20 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver. Optional white-glove install is available in select cities.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. Face, fingerprint, passcode, IC card, and the mechanical key all work fully offline. Wi-Fi is only required for remote features.
Is the camera always recording?
No. The camera only activates on doorbell press, motion detection, or live view from your phone. You control all permissions.
